Very Short-term Contract JDE E1 Developer Opportunity in Dallas, TX

JDE E1 Developer

POSITION SCOPE:

Provide JDE EnterpriseOne report programs (UBE's), business views, work tables, versions, processing option templates and unit test scripts for six custom reports. Work with JDE Business Analysts to understand business/technical requirements. Provide changes and fixes as directed by BA's during quality assurance (QA) testing. Provide user documentation. Participate in code walk-through and reviews. This position is temporary and ends on 4/30/2011.

CORE SKILLS:

a. Excellent understanding of supplier management and asset management principles

b. Experience conducting strategic sourcing projects (RFx) for all IT related commodities

c. Ability to negotiate supplier agreements – commercial as well as non-commercial terms

d. Ability to develop and implement supplier metrics that improve quality, costs and benefits

e. Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

f. Good time management skills and multi-tasking ability

EXPERIENCE

Due to short timeline, a high level expert is needed with the following skill sets:

a. JDE EnterpriseOne Development,

b. Financial Report Writer,

c. Standard Report Design Aid,

d. JDE E1 financial database structure and tables.

e. Minimum of 5 years experience required.

TERM:

a. The contract shall be in effect until 4/30/2011. The services outlined will commence immediately after completion of negotiations and award of contract.
