Our client is seeking two contract Project Managers who are responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provide a single point of contact for those projects. Take projects from original definitions through final deployment. Defines project scope and objectives, and ensures adherence to quality standards. Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately. Responsible for tracking key project milestones, adjusting project plans, and/or resources to meet the needs of the project. Coordinates communication with all areas of the department that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to the project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. This position is temporary and ends on 4/15/2011.

Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Candidate must live in the DFW area.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE OF CANDIDATE:
a. 7 to 10 years of IT work experience, including 4 or more years managing projects
b. Experience with projects in multiple technologies and infrastructure functions preferred
EDUCATION:
a. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field or equivalent work experience
b. Project Management Certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is desirable.
